Fantasy
02:27
|

fantasy
is not what it seems to be
and losers, and fighters
end up just like me.
every high
and every low of every dream.
you wake up, you find out
it just wasn't meant to be.
so sit down and dry your hands
wet from digging in the sand
too deep
so they think you're a creep and you die.
fly away
to that place you held your head high
or atleast you could, you would
or else yours would be like mine.
hopefully, the monotony
gets to you like it gets to me
and you wake up
and find it it just comes so naturally
hopefully, the monotony
comes to you, like it comes to me
and you like it
because it's easy like freedom
so you find out what it's like to be me.

Boy
01:53

if we had a girl
i'd name her mandy, sounds like candy
because it's something sweet unlike me
if we had a boy
his name would be my own
then i'd have someone like me.
i'd teach them guitar
help them in my car
buckle them in like i always was
they'd learn to paint
always drawing me pictures
of the world only they can see.
if i had a husband
i'd hope that he is rich
so i can buy them the toys i never got.
if i had a wife
i'd make sure she's alright at empathy
that's just something i never got.
i'd have teach them guitar
push them in my car
buckle them in like i always was
they'd learn to scream
always yelling at me
about the things we don't agree on.

Summer Sale
03:58
|
|||
it's a summer sale, everything's going cheap
like the tv in my room that i never use,
even though i said i would.
and i could pretend i'd watch it
it has a vhs and i have some cassettes
i guess i just didn't have time.
i've got three keyboards in my cupboard
i used one once, now it doesn't turn on.
i swear i didn't ruin it.
help me
take this stuff from my room
i can't look at it anymore
i wont use it again.
help me
take this stuff from my room
i wont use it again
i don't want to pretend.
we've got heaters in boxes
they just sit around, but they could wander in town
like charlie.
but instead, they're dead
just useless piles of rubble
on my floor.
and it's cliche to talk about piles of clothes
on the ground.
but it's true, i do.
help me
take this stuff from my room
i can't look at it anymore
i wont use it again.
help me
take this stuff from my room
i need to wash it today
even though they smell better that way.
